Hmm...@ a quick glance, this looks like a possible list of the top senior players, regardless of position. The absence of underclassmen like Joe Haden, Eric Berry, and Dez Bryant is a dead giveaway.

To me the dream scenario would be the possibility of trading down from 9.....still grab Bulaga....pick up an additional 2nd rounder......pick up Terrance Cody and a good 3-4 linebacker in the 2nd round......and grabbing a QB in the 3rd round.

That is a nice trade-down scenario.
Nothing against cody but I doubt he solves our NT problem. Most rookie tackles take time to develop. If we are serious about the 3-4 we better pick up a decent veteran NT and use Cody to spell him and learn the the Pro Game.

1. Mike Mayock, NFL Network: 10/32
2. Mel Kiper, ESPN: 8.5/32
2. The Big Lead: 8.5/32
2. National Football Post: 8.5/32
5. Rick Gosselin, Dallas Morning News: 8/32
6. Don Banks, Sports Illustrated: 7/32
6. San Diego Union-Tribune: 7/32
6. Shawn Zobel, DraftHeadquarters.com: 7/32
9. Todd McShay: 6/32
10. Peter King, Sports Illustrated: 5.5/32
So there you have it. Mike Mayock is the mack daddy of mock drafting.
I'd make the following argument, though: It is entirely unreasonable to judge a guy like Mayock, Kiper or McShay on how many they got right in their mock draft. There are 32 teams in the NFL, zero of them trust those three guys enough to consistently tell them the truth about whom they're drafting, and most of the teams are constantly peppering those guys with things that are deliberately untrue. It's not their job to get a mock draft "right."

Angerer is a player. Every game this year he was all over the field, and he can really hit. And yes, it's an AWESOME name!

If Cody doesn't have the self discipline to stay in "reasonable" shape when his livelilhood and millions of dollars are at stake then how much motivation do you think he will have when he has signed a contract. No one doubts that he is an exceptional athlete when he is in shape. But he brings back memories of Mike Williams who lost his motivation and will to play when he was with us.
In addition, I don't trust a player whose man tits are competitive with Dolly Parson's girls tits.

I have seen Pat Angerer a few times on tV. He reminds me of Zack Thomas. His measurables might not be impressive but when you see him play he is always on the ball. He simply is a very good football player.
