My daughter is seriously computer addicted (so am I but different story) so I need a router I can use which can filter sites she goes to, time of day, etc.  I do not want it on PC hence want it on router.  I need to be able to control which machines get routed and which are not.

Despite being in computer field for 25 years not savvy in this type of thing.  I'll be starting a new job Monday and she has already found ways to sneak on. Her computer addiction has already cost her college and I do not want her surfing when my wife and I are not home.

I can recommend the Amped Wireless R10000G.  I wrote a review here:

It has a section called "Block Websites" (aka: URL filtering).  Specifically:

Quote

URL Filtering blocks users on your  from accessing specific websites that you deem unsafe or inappropriate. Enter a keyword or the actual web address below to begin blocking.

Note: If you wish to block www.google.com, simply type in "google" and the High Power Router will block all websites with the text "google" in the URL.

The coverage of the device is great too.

The Wi-fi analytic tools looks interesting.  Anything like it for apple apps?
