There is some good news however - the week before this, Mario Williams sacked and injured Tom Brady    And apparently we injure Alex Smith in this game as well.

....Fitzpatrick threw a perfect pass to a streaking Derek Hagan as he got behind Culliver. Donte Whitner was late coming over and the resulting gain was 44 yds.

Sounds oddly familiar.

Might as well not play the game since we lost. It also solves that pesky road trip issue of should we stay on the west coast for two weeks when we play 49's and Arizona.

Colin Kaepernick only throws one INT?  I call shenanigans.

Well to be fair he only played a quarter and a half, and they were ahead so they probably didn't throw much.

Just learned today people actually do NFL fan fiction and I'm not a fan of it.

Cool idea, but no chance in hell the Niners hang 28 on our D.

Also, the writer lost all credibility with: Buffalo won the toss and elected to receive.

Rough start. Rough start.

No way SF scores 28 points on this defense.  Total BS and a very bad prediction.

Well, he certainly knows how to butter us up to make the loss not seem so bad...

Quote

The Bills come to the Bay Area with an impressive 3-1 record this early season, matching the 49er's record. This includes a dominate performance last week against the Patriots (in which Tom Brady was injured after a huge hit from Mario Williams.) They also have wins against the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns and a last second loss to Kansas City.

Hard to believe someone actually spends the time to write that dribble. The NFL needs a spring league now more than ever. Way too much garbage to read these days.

That is what I was thinking from the start when have we elected to receive when we won the toss we always defer!  Not a good start to a story with messed up facts.

Might as well square them off in Madden and let the computer play through the game.  These simulations are garbage and not even worth reading.

I don't even know how you could do these things. Anything could happen in an NFL game and I just find it too tough to guess what's going to happen quarter by quarter.
