Ok, so I'm watching the first team defenses snaps against the Vikings for the umpteenth time and I'm keying on Kyle Williams.  Dude was straight up UNBLOCKABLE!  He's literally shoving the Vikes starting center into the QB on multiple snaps.

Someone needs to send Kyle a memo and tell him to save something for the regular season!!

I know some of our flashier guys get most of the spotlight (Freddy, Stevie, Mario) but Kyle might be our best player, he's that good.

Here's hoping he turns in a healthy, Pro Bowl deserving season. There was another thread asking who the one guy was we couldn't afford to lose, and he either was my pick, or should have been my pick.

KW & Dareus could become one of the top DT tandems in the league.

Remember that game in 2010 where he positively abused Pittsburgh's interior line?  I'll try to find the link, but according to Football Outsiders it was one of the greatest DT performances EVER in a single game.

We are back to a scheme where Kyle should better be able to use his strengths

Kyle Wiliams is the rare dirt-dog wide body talent who can dominate an interior gap, push the pocket, and play well in space.  If Marcell Darius can build on last year's effort, and be 3/4 as competent as his linemate, we should be in for an exciting ride.

I believe that was the one Stevie dropped the TD in the endzone in OT.  I remember thinking afterwards that without KW that day we could have lost 45-3, but instead its was an overtime game.  KW is maybe the best interior DL player in the league.

I noticed Dareus doing that in the first preseason game, as well...these two are pure brutes...Mario and Anderson are SOOO set up for success here it's not even funny. If we can get some solid CB play from our starters, I'd love to see us cheat up a safety more often than not. I really think Ron Brooks may be the key to that....he has been like industrial adhesive so far....I like Williams a lot, but I'd almost rather go with Brooks and Gilmore as our starters.

Smartest thing SJ ever did in a Bills uniform. He catches that pass and we don't get Marcel Dareus.

Way to go Stevie!

That was a fun game to watch with a bunch of Stiller fans.
I also remember the first time we saw him in preseason action the year he was drafted. I don't remember who the opponent was but he single-handedly destroyed the interior of their offensive line for the snaps he was on the field. Some guys don't have an Off switch and I think Kyle is one of them.

Let the line play 1/2 of the next game and then rest them all for the Jets.  Better yet just forfiet the 4th game.  The roster is 95% set.  Let Moorman and Powell hold a punt contest, take six WR's not named Stevie and line let them draw four short straws, and lastly let Carrington and Edwars figh to the death in the parking lot at RW.

OH MY GOD,
The GREAT WHITE BUFFALO.....
LOOK OUT!!!! LOOK OUT!!!!!!!

But seriously, when healthy I honestly think he's the best interior DL in the game. I think 2 season ago he kept coming out on top in an objective website's analysis I kept seeing (forgot which one but it seemed legit).  Great push upfield, brings it every play, equally effective against run or pass, strong as an ox, not particularly tall and w/ alligator arms hard to get a bead on.  Guards and centers probably crap their pants more thinking about how to defend that throughout the whole game than more of a pass rush specialist like Suh.

Foot doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.... sure hope it stays that way.

The only guy I'd rather have is Haloti Ngata, and even then not by all that much.

Kyle Williams was ranked by Profootballfocus as their BEST defensive player in the entire NFL in 2010. He's more than great. We have something special. Dareus = as good, if not better than Suh with out the stats. That's not that far fetched either. This could be the best D-Line the Bills have ever seen as well. The hype is real, they just need to do it now for us to be in these talks legitimately.
