[JR in Pittsburgh]

I thought today was a terrific win , with both Stevie and brad smith probably having their best games of the year.

so many other good performances too-- bills d clamped down, two fg blocks, big play by spiller...

And watching Sanchez and Rex look so frustrated was awesome. I only wish maybin still played for the jets.

It's been a tough season, but I was glad it didn't end on a sour note and gave me something to cheer about.

A win to be proud of. Just sad that we couldn't have seen more games like it this year.

Do not for ONE SECOND say "the Bills D clamped down" -- they were horrid as usual.  If the Jets had simply stuck with the running game they would probably have won.  Sanchez is god-awful.  I loved (or loathed) the graphic they put up showing Fitz and Sanchez as the two worst QBs in the game over the past two seasons in turning the ball over.

This was a win -- and despite the fact a loss would have been "better" I always enjoy a win.  But the Bills stink.

IMO a meaningless win, cost us some draft position. Again, just IMO.

I thought the d got better against the run after halftime.

But no one is claiming the bills are good. but getting a win, esp against the arrogant Sanchez and Ryan, is satisfying. The choice TD on 4 th down almost killed poor Rex.

Completely agree.  All this game did was tell me what I already know:

1.  Spiller is a stud
2.  Carrington can block kicks
3.  Stevie is an enigmatic and mysteriously effective WR
4.  The defense sucks
5.  Brad Smith, when used effectively, is a weapon
6.  Gailey must go

well id stil rather be picking sixth or seventh than tenth-plus but even with that disappontment its still hard not to like beating up on the jets - even if it was a who sucks less toilet of a bowl

I don't get the "wish we lost to get a better pick" argument.

Regardless of where the bills draft, they will screw up the pick.

16-32 in three seasons is failure.  I don't care about individual performances if the team record doesn't get the team into the playoffs.  May be hard to stomach for results optional types but it's fair.

Some perspective? Perspective = a true understanding the relative importance of things. What was important about today's win? To put it in perspective, how did today's win help the Bills in the long run? Accuracy, maybe. But you're the one that needs perspective.

Worst Win in franchise history. What's the point except to help keep a terrible coach and drop in draft position. This win could cost the team countless wins in the next two years.
