I don't know if he misread the safety or misfired but.... Middle of the field, not outside should've been the easy read and location. Let the receiver run to it in space. Safer, and bigger play potential. It's like he thought they had the safety high in the middle of the field and was throwing away from him.

That's why I don't like him. That was a terrible pass. But it seems like 50% of the time AJ Green comes down with a pass like that and Dalton would get a TD.

Yup. Granted, I imagine that part of the reason Dalton threw it like that is because Green is so damn good at jump balls. But still, it was a bad pass because it should have been more on a line and thrown earlier and hit him in stride.
