The Giants released LB Michael Boley today.  Has one coverage skills, any interest?

I'd prefer a LB with two coverage skills...

He's 31 and got benched halfway through the year. The giants are one of those organizations that knows when to cut guys loose it seems. Makes me a little wary

Eh, If he comes cheap he might be worth bringing in to kick the tires and see if he could be a depth/stop-gap guy, but I wouldn't want to sink money or hopes into him.

Are they that exceptional? I honestly don't know and with the pass happy league it seems odd the giants would cut him loose if he was such a good coverage guy.

He started 11 games and had a hamstring injury  he played in all 16. A healthy boley wouldnt be a bad pickup

Watched Boley play in Atl. I wanted the Bills to pick him up when the Giants got him.
He was a very solid player for Atlanta. 31 does not scare me too much for a LB. As long as he is healthy. having a LB with coverage can only help...

Sounds like the kind of guy we need for a year or two to help guys like Bradham develope. The Bills still would need a LB or two in the draft.

Bills RUN D was such a disaster that I think bringing in a guy who is not more balanced is not wise.
