good fit here? Draft a rookie and let him earn his way into the job? Not the worst idea.

He did beat us on a game-winning drive last year...it would basically be the same thing he did in Tennessee.  He would work with a rookie for a few years.

Beware Fitz is visiting Tennesee per Chris Brown. So not sure what he has left if they want him to replace Matt.

Why not, we already tried out his brother Tim in 2001.

No one is talking about him as the "franchise" guy.....but a smart veteran wouldn't be a horrible stop gap for a year or two while a rookie learns. Hasselback is better than Fitz...and has been to a Superbowl and more than one pro bowl.

Watched Hasselbeck in Seattle and would be more than happy to see him on the Bills roster if he has gas in the tank. Great leader, competitor, accuracy and didn't throw the ill-timed picks like Fitz. Interesting cut by the Titans.

Rookie QBs play nowadays. They don't sit behind washed-up veterans for one to two years and "learn." The Bills would be spinning their wheels with Hasselbeck.

He's not. This isn't 2007. None of his past success means anything anymore. It's ancient history.

You guys are crazy. Dude is held together with scotch tape and paper clips. Would've been a good move 5 years ago.

The question isn't whether Hassle is better than Fitz or good enough to tutor incoming rookies. The question is: is he better than Tavaris Jackson?

Answer: YES

Hasselbeck didn't play so badly last year, in the limited action he saw.  If the team had  won a few more games early on, he may have stayed the starting QB.  If you recall, they had a miserable time with their O-line, early on...5 starts...I would love this signing.
