Our best players played their best and it was just enough to overcome some dumb-assery by the lesser knowns.  Who was the best of the best?

Got to go with Mario, 4.5 sacks and great against the run. The defense as a whole deserves a game ball.

Mike Pettine is the MVP the first two weeks.

Consistently creating schemes to get the best out of his players.

Mario Williams! A team record in sacks, keeping Cam Newton from doing much of anything... just blew up their pocket.

The defense giving up just six points on two FGs after those two turnovers was as big or bigger than the last 80 yard drive. It wouldn't have been a one possession game. Mario was easily the best player on the field today. He couldn't be stopped, and was effective even if you just ignored the 4.5 sacks.

I'd give an honorable mention to Dan Carpenter. He misses that 55 yarder and we give up great field position. Moreover, to hit that after shanking the first one was impressive. And was the last fg partially blocked and still went through? Finally,I know I want the only one thinking that this team would be the one to miss that extra point at the end. Solid job by our kicker.

voted for EJ

But another option should have been the entire Defense. I thought they keep the Bills in the game all day.

Mario was finally SUPER Mario today. Seem like he's finally healthy. Good to see.
