What is it we got for Lynch?  Something tells me we got the short end of the stick.

Traded for Indy first round pick 2014. Browns are going to be looking for franchise QB in the draft.

Browns get a first round pick for Richardson, and all we could land for Lynch is a 4th rounder. Oh how special our FO is :D

I feel sorry for Browns fans though, they literally have nothing going with their team. As much as we complain here, it's worse there (and with the Jags), imo.

Lynch was and is one dumb move away from a long suspension

If Trent Richardson is worth a #1 then isn't Byrd?

They get the fast track to Bridgewater and then an extra pick to give him some help.  I like the move.

can you really only get a first for him? Just spent a first on him last year, dude still has 4 years left on his rookie deal..think a third or a 4th would be thrown in.

Indy desperately needed a RB. Browns apparently gave up on this season and next season already. The price for Richardson was a 2014 1st. Indy paid it. If someone wanted Lynch that badly, they would have paid a 1st if that was the price. It wasn't. If someone wants Byrd bad enough and the price is a 1st then someone will pay it. Comparing every trade to Lynch or Byrd is just stupid. Different organizations, different times, different needs.

Indy could use the RB help, and in a relatively wide-open AFC, a stud back like that could make them a serious contender. As for the Browns, they're all in for the draft next year. Can't see them going for Johnny Football, though.

Still...Indy pick likely at the bottom part in the 20s....they picked Richardson at #3...Im thinking they could have gotten a bidding war or additional draft pick compensation....

How much did Miami give up to get #3 overall in this years draft?
