The Lions and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh are talking about a contract extension that could make him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.  They’ll now have to take a break from the process.

Per multiple league sources, Suh has fired his agents, Eugene Parker and Roosevelt Barnes.

Suh probably didnt want to hold out,

and since that is all Parker knows how to do, he told Suh to get another agent.

Lots of projecting going on here.

On a real note: hopefully he's walking around probowl practices ripping Parker in front of certain folks that might be listening.

Franchise hi, attempt to work out a long term deal, if that falls through trade him. If the trade offers are not good enough then let him play on a one year deal.

Letting him walk for nothing is the worst way to handle this because it sets a bad precedent for future free agents.
