I think Rex should become a college HC. Young players would love his personality, he will get a lot of high profile recruits just because of his name, and his defense will confuse a lot of younger non NFL QBs. He could become relevant and win some National Titles if he went down to coach college ball.

he could never be a college coach imo. With recruiting round the clock he could never handle the hours and commitment necessary to be a legit contender.

Someone's gotta take out Stephen A.
Berman out of retirement maybe?

Stephen A. Smith is carving out quite the niche as an actor on General Hospital.

he changed it to Clemson like the week after he got fired. He said he wanted to represent a winner.

On his 1st day, Rex will proclaim that he's not at ESPN to kiss Boomer, Dan Patrick , Keith Oberman or Rich Eisen's rings......

After doing the Superbowl show with ESPN, one could say he already had his foot in the door.....

They should require him to wear a helmet at all times while on air...

...so his head doesn't swell up and take over the frame.

Since ESPN's ratings are falling, sign his "little" bro as well.  We certainly learned that two Ryans are worse than one.  But perhaps the network can't fit them both on a single screen, especially if you want to include the hair.

Makes sense. If he can make it anywhere, it is ESPN.

ESPN is in a full throttle lay-off mode due to no $$$.  Are they paying Rex, or is he making do with his remaining Bills contract?

I will make a prediction.

Rex will last exactly one year.

He won't like the neutering surgery that ESPN requires of it's so-called "opinionated" talent.

I'm convinced they gave Mike Ditka an actual lobotomy.

Now, you can yell and wear suits one size too small but you can't say anything "bad" about the NFL, it's teams or its players.

If they gave Rex a lobotomy, would anyone notice the difference ?
