With the drafting of Dawkins and the CK injury, I think the starting five will be from left to right Glenn, Incognito, Wood, Miller, and Dawkins.
I was a big proponent of CK at LT and Glenn at RT but I cant see that happening with them signing Mills and drafting Dawkins.
I would not be surprised if Groy wins the starting center job and Wood is traded for a starting LB.
I do not see a guard that can beat out Miller and Richie. They could be a top 2 or 3 guard combo.
Looking forward to the discussion

Im just really really hoping the only change to it is Dawkins at RT

Then Groy is there to backup all the interior OL positions

Yep. Less sure of the rest of the roster, but that looks right. Now just stay healthy!

It is the one position where I am really content with our depth.

A top 8 LT
A top 10/12 LG
A solid starting C
An improving young RG
A decent lookig rookie prospect RT

Then:
A proven inside swing guy
A backup C who has started in the league for a playoff team
A back up "specialist" at LT (if CK's head is right)
A back up RT

They could legitimately keep 9 because there are other areas where we have paper thin depth. O Line will be our strongest group going into camp.

Hey it has worked for Dallas. I think our line was a top 10 unit last year. If Dawkins is an upgrade on Miller and Cordy is back at 100% it could be pushing top 5 this time.

I agree with Dragon's projection. Dawkins couldn't be worse than Mills

Nice topic here, but the most intriguing part is the center position. I was also under the impression from how Groy filled in for Wood that Wood could possibly go on the trade block or even possibly get cut. The new coaching regime has no ties to him and I think Groy could push him out in camp.

Any ideas on a trade partner? Not really sure who in the league is weak at center and could have depth at a position of weakness for us like LB, TE, or S maybe.

Week 1, I'd expect the same OL that played last year. My hatred for Jordan Mills is well known but a lot of teams prefer veteran presence in the short-term.

By Week 17, I'd prefer to see Glenn/Incognito/Groy/Miller/Dawkins. I think that's actually pretty feasible.

Maybe I just don't want to see it, because I've liked 'Curly' at Center since we drafted him. A career Bill who loves the team and city and is an inspirational player. BUT, with his 2nd severe leg injury which saw him miss the 2nd half last season, Groy didn't just fill in admirably, I believe he TOOK the position from Wood. IMO, he was close to flawless and deserves to start going forward.

Enduring, yet again, a wholesale coaching change and philosophy, perhaps one of them will excel better in the new blocking schemes we'll employ this year, but based on how our back to back League rushing titles was erected, it's Groy over Wood for me.

Otherwise, time is up for Henderson and CK, again, IMO.

Dawkins should be a big upgrade at RT.  Maybe the team moves on from Mills, Henderson and even Kouiandijo.

The rest of the line from last season should start and be better as a unit with Dawkins.  Pyke was a very good RG in college and could make the team as depth.

Groy is not better than Miller. Miller had a very solid/good season last year, and should only improve. He's a beast in the making

its crazy to me people are advocating groy over wood...groy played well last year when called upon, no doubt.

Wood is a damn good center, a damn good center. Even if groy was as good as wood, you start Wood because groy gives you the flexibility to backup 4 spots on the line in case of need.

And groy is not as good as Wood.

Hoping Dawkins can unseat Mills, because well, Mills is trash.

Yup. I think this is the most likely and best case scenario.

Should be a strong group this year.

Not much to discuss. I think you are spot on. We didn't give up picks to move up for Dawkins without thoughts of him starting. I will say, if Miller improves like most do in year 3 and Dawkins can unseat Mills(he'll be given every chance), we have the potential to be one of the better O-lines in the NFL. Not quite like the Cowboys, but definitely a major strength.

Glenn

Incognito

Wood

Miller

Mills

I've never seen Dawkins play so I can't put the rookie into my uninformed starting lineup ..... Yet.

LT - Glenn

LG - Incognito

C - Wood

RG - Miller

RT - Dawkins

Not that hard to predict.

Ughhh depth... OLine seems to be the one area we have good depth at. What really makes Ducasse good depth is he can play 4 positions. Both tackle and guards positions. Versatility on the bench is huge because you can never predict an injury and having a player who could be plugged in anywhere is huge

I think we end up like this

LT- Glenn
LG- Incognito
C- Wood
RG- Miller
RT- Dawkins

OG/C- Groy
OG/OT- Ducasse
OT- Koundijo

Everyone else is cut
