I can see both sides of this.
LSU wants National Championships, and Les hasn't delivered one in years.
The "Tiggers" have now lost 3 straight.
Les/LSU have lost to Saban/Bama 5 straight times with little perception that direction will change in the future.

Hell, there are numerous college programs would sell their soul to experience that kind of success.
LSU can probably get a better HC. But there is also a big possibility they can get a worse one.
