Sliders and Pickles are 2 bars close to the stadium where a lot of people pre-game.... right across the street from Camden Yards. They usually have relatively cheap beers.

There is also the Casino very close to the stadium... drinks are expensive.. but they are very strong.

If you are going to venture out into the city there are a lot of good bars/restaurants in the Federal Hill area which is doable walking distance from the stadium. Fells Point is pretty cool as well.. ( I myself prefer Fells Point)  but you may need to Uber/ Taxi to  Fells as it is a long walk from the stadium.

And a word to the wise... if you are driving to the game.. try and park somewhere close to the stadium.. even if you have to pay an extra $10-15 don't try to be cheap. I made the mistake of parking 5 or 6 blocks west of the stadium once to save a few bucks and on my walk to the stadium I narrowly avoided being accosted and robbed. That being said.. Fells Point, Inner Harbor and Fed Hill are all safe areas.. just don't wander more than a block or two west of the stadium area.

How about park and rides accessible to the metro?  we will be checking out of our hotel and i have no issue with heading north of baltimore to a train stop, leave my car there and then train back, figure north because i am heading back to philly afterwards.

Where is your hotel?

you could leave your car at a light rail stop..I would suggest Mount Washington Station or Falls Rd as any station south of those would be suspect... both are about 15 minutes north of downtown/ stadium.

the light rail is safe and cheap and drops you off right at the stadium. I myself will be taking the light rail to the game from the northern suburbs.

Staying at the Renaissance in the Inner Harbor but will have to check out so can't park there, I may try one of those 2 stops.  Thanks for that info

Pooj...do the Cross Street Market for cheapo beers Saturday afternoon!!!

BTW, have you asked them about parking during the game? I am sure there would be an additional fee, but maybe not for overnight guests. I would certaily ask. Driving out, then taking light rail back sounds like a royal pain in da arse.

(edit) did a quick search...you get 30 hours from the time you pull in garage on Saturday...so if you pull in at noon Saturday, you have to 6Pm before an additional $30 gets added. Way easier

My second trip to a Bills/Crows game in B'more. Stayed in hi priced digs last time, not worth the money for how long we were in the room. This time we are in the Radisson Hotel.  We spent most of our time at Slider's Bar and Grill. The owner is fantastic, and cute too. Took very good care of Buffalo travelers in 2013. And the tailgate at Sliders was not too bad.  Got to meet some good folks along the way.  Go Bills!!!!!!!

Have a great pair of Sunglasses, wear plenty of sunscreen, and if you have a really comfortable , non-cotton, loose fitting long sleeve shirt to keep the sun off...wear it!

how did your seats work out? We lucked out in row 32 of 130...was in shade the entire game. Looked hot on opposite side of field.

Maybe he got a bad sunburn on the back of his neck once.  But yeah looking at the seating diagram on the Ravens' website it looks like that -01 through -13 or so will have it the worst.[/quote]

Sun was behind us for the first half. Shade in the second half. That poster was an idiot.
