I'm confused.

He sprained his knee and its May.

What's the big deal?

so Sammy and a Zay  and tyrod are not practicing together. And Clay is resting up for some gosh darned reason. That concerns me.

Especially important for a rookie to get the reps early and often. You know this Scott.

ScottLaw taking the "Stay calm, keep it posi" approach?!? :nana:

confusing isn't it ?
The offseason can be harrowing for Us Bills Fans.

 It's a concern.

Be well Scott

Conditioned.
At this point it's a "when's the next shoe going to drop?" response.
I feel it too..
I'm ignoring it for sanity sake.

4 months... sigh*

Something in the water up there.......

....without Mahomes here, he probably wouldn't see the ball anyway...............

waiting for our Boy here....to do his thing.... tick tick

; )

It starts with One.

Jeebus, when does it end though ??

Every season it starts with one and just gets worse

:D

What difference does it make? Does sprained make you feel better?

Do you know what a sprain is? It is still damage(tears) to the ligament.

At minimum for the least severe sprain(grade 1) it is 2 to 4 weeks. But also with the damage done to the ligaments the knee joint is not as structurally sound which can lead to further more severe injury in the future.

Higher grade knee sprain can take 4 to 12 months to recover.

So do you feel better now that title says sprain?

I never asked for it to be clarified !! I don't like SWat all that much honestly.
I wish you did not just ruin my day.

doomed

Certainly not the news you want to hear. Hopefully this doesn't  escalate into something more (seems to happen a lot), and affect his first year development.

This one cracked me up, and it should you, too. TE Charles Clay had today off for rest/maintenance. Theyve had 2 practices. Its May 18.

Got to love that Whaley signing!

yes i remember watching the press conference.  nobody touched him so it's no big deal they said, probably just a sprain

Didnt say it was a sprain but said not likely a ligament tear or acl.
Rexs verbatim comments after the injury:
"Reggie went off. Its a knee," Ryan said in his opening address. "Im not sure of the extent of that injury, but well obviously, well be very concerned with that injury, but hopefully right now it doesnt appear to be with the ligaments involves, so well just keep our fingers crossed there."

The head coach also said that at this point they do not believe it to be a torn ACL.

So you are correct in the fact that they sure didnt think it was an acl.

Someone call the Rams, send us Woods back.

I hate the 14 on Sammy

I agree I hate 14 and 11 what ever happened to WR wearing numbers in the 80's

Teams started keeping 7 WRs and extra TEs, plus having their 7th OLman occasionally wearing an eligible number so that he doesn't have to report every play, so the league opened up the teens to WRs and RBs

i think the proper treatment will be to amputate the leg.

Probably both, just in case it spreads. Can never be too safe!

I know this is the voice of reason....but maybe they are just being cautious because they want him ready by training camp?

Is there a reason to run a knicked up player into the ground?

He's practicing to take Sammy's place on the injury list in case Sammy leaves after this season.

Sammy needs company sitting on the bench all year.

I speak in TOTALITY and not just star players. Yes we are one of the most injured teams in the last 10 years. There is a track record of it. I wrote about it sometime back:
