Remember he has something going on with his hand

I'd like to see Joe Barnyard get some time, I think he would be a nice compliment to Lesean and Tolbert. I understandyou have only so many spots buy give the guy a try!

McCoy busted his ass for this football team today. It was tough tough sledding out there on every down.

Yeah, I can't figure out what that is, hand, wrist? Not sure but hope it doesn't linger all season.

thats 2 weeks on a row. The next time we face a weaker defense I have a feeling he will go OFF.

Anyone else concerned about McCoy?   2nd week in a row he has been awful.   Granted against good defenses, but NO's backs had better numbers.

Hopefully see an improvement next week.   Good to see we can win when he has a bad game, but longer term, may need to take one 3rd round next year.

Awful?    he made some big 1st downs and ran hard...had a beautiful run called back on a penalty

It was a really hot day, as well. Perhaps that factored into rotating McCoy in and out of the game a bit more frequently.

You're probably correct but then maybe dress Banyard instead of DiMarco

If he was missing holes, looking slow or lacking his normal elusiveness - yes I would be concerned that maybe he's lost a step or injured.

But the last 2 weeks, he's had defenders flocking to him like a magnet.  The blocking up front has been horrendous.  The defenses we've played have been great.

The best runners in NFL history couldn't do anything with the (lack of) holes he's gotten.

The Bills succeeded yesterday because they were able to pass when the defense keyed on Shady.  If they can keep it up, defenses will be forced to back off.  It would really help if Dennison called for a deep shot occasionally... if only to keep the secondary honest.  Even taking the safety back a few yards or forcing the linebackers to hesitate a half-second could make a HUGE difference in our running game.

No, teams are keying in him as the key to stopping Buffalo's offense. This game hopefully showed that they can score without McCoy being the center of the offense. That should loosen things up for him.

IMO Denvers game plan was to stop the run and they did basically that.

He has not been awful; his numbers have been awful. Big, big difference. He has no running room and is regularly hit in the backfield. It's the price the Bills are paying for lacking a quality WR threat. It's as plain as day.
